Cerinthe Major 'Purpurascens' (Honeywort) Kiwi Blue - with its silvery leaves and purple hanging bells - is regarded as one of the best annual foliage plants.
This richly-hued honeywort is easy to grow and gently self-sows. The Bracts on this variety are a violet blue and 32" tall. It is superb as a garden plant as well as cut flower, and absolutely loved by butterflies and bees – hence its common name. If you sear the stems in boiling water for 30 seconds it will last longer as a cut flower.
